also Coach O'Sullivan is the SEC Coach of the Year, just announced



Maddox hit .346 with 17 HRs and 64 RBIs

UF had one of the youngest teams in the country. And with them, he won a SEC title.

Coach O deserved it.

As for Austin Maddox... Great year.

How did this kid not get drafted high enough to sign a pro contract, those are SICK number for a true freshman to put up in the SEC

I actually thought he would. I'm surprised that O'Sullivan got it. You could make a good case for either one. They both deserved it.

Kind of odd that O'Sullivan has a COY of the award but neither Meyer nor Donovan, with four national titles between them, has ever won it.
