What can you tell us about Esminger?
Guy on rant saying he is expected to be the new TE coach for LSU.
I think I already have a good idea what yall are gonna say.
Did he have any impact on Campbell?

Honestly, just be glad he isn't going to be the QB coach. Good luck with him. I don't know the extent to which he should have been blamed for our overall staff's laziness but I can assure you, he was part of it. You guys have other good recruiters, though.

auburn fans are gonna blast the guy, but he's not a bad coach... he was just put in two terrible positions (2003 and 2008). He's a pretty good recruiter.

he's gonna be a TEs coach... it's not like he'll be recruiting coordinator and OC... he's a good hire for the position, IMO. Plus he knows louisiana.

Ensminger is an LSU legacy.....as you know. I watched him and Woodley split time when I was a kid in Tiger Stadium.
He is well respected in AL schools....good recruiter.

Well, we all know 2008 was a giant cluster%^&% that we surely can't blame on Ensminger's position coaching, and I don't think Trott played a whole lot in 2007. But Robert Johnson, Cooper Wallace, Cole Bennett, and Gabe McKenzie all played well before 2008. Point being, TE was never a liability for us. They all blocked well, and caught those passes out of the bootleg when we called them.

Just don't ever let him be involved in play-calling. In fact, don't even let your current OC be involved in play-calling...Crowton sucks

He is a good position coach and solid recruiter. He sadly had to fall on his sword a lot while working under Tuberville so some AU fans dislike him.

Ensminger sucks. Him, Hugh Nall, and Knox probably contributed the most to Auburn falling apart.
