Have y'all seen anything that makes you think this season is different from 2007-2008's 13-0/15-1 start then meltdown?

The guys who led us to that 15-1 start are Juniors now.

But in reality, we just have far better players than we did then. Better shooters, Better athletes.
We don't have a great inside precense, but we have two underclassmen 1 a sophomore the other a Freshman (#22 prospect in the country) that have star potential.

The difference between that years team and this year's team is that 07-08 was a bunch of talentless players with tons of expereince, and this year's team is full of talented players with little experience.
Our lone loss was to #5 Nova by 12.
We play #6 WVU in Morgantown tommorrow at 6:30 central on ESPN.
check that out.

In 07-08, those guys had been through four years of losing. Now that we've been there, we should be OK handling it. Plus this team is just better.

But the only good team they've played they lost to. I'm definitely checking out the West Virginia game tonight.

I don't think we are as good as our #15 AP ranking, but we're certainly a tourney team, and should ETA: Be in the running to win the west this year.

We've had good showings against Southern Miss, Kansas State and Indiana so far.

Southern Miss is #15 in the RPI.

and Kansas State who's ranked #12, beat them by 12

and UTEP, who will most likely be a tourney team, they've got the #1 recruit from a couple years ago, beat them in OT by 10

I went to that game and almost left when OM was down 12 with un 3 left.

I think half the civic center cleared out at that time.

There were only 2,700 at the game to begin with.
There was a full house at the civic center a couple of years ago, but I guess that's the difference between playing Southern and UTEP.

I was looking at Ole Miss' schedule on their ESPN homepage where they just use team abbreviations and didn't notice they played Kansas State. That's a good win, I'll give them that.

But that's about it right now. Let's see what happens tonight.

We will see.

Either way, we're still a better team than more than half the conference.

I think Ole Miss wins the west this year and easily makes the NCAA tournament.

Sure is.
But we're playing with house money for the most part. (as long as we don't get blown out)
