Anybody heard estimates on a total number?
I would be shocked if Texas outdrew them

I've been hearing around 50K or so. I think it will be very even in the stadium, although I know some people going out there without tickets. Texas fans travel extremely well also.

Plus Texas has a HUGE alumni presence in Southern California.

It will be 60-65% Texas. Alabama travels better than Texas but Texas is used to being in Pasadena. I'm sure they have it on lock.

Judging by how clusterfvcked the flight selections are, I think we'll have quite a large turnout. I know many people that are going with or without a ticket to the game.

Not sure, but I can garuntee you that Texas will outnumber them.

Texas fans had a head start on buying tix/flights/reservations, since they basically knew they were safe after beating OU. A lot of us waited until after the SECCG and now we are paying out the arse to get there, lol.

That explains the run on safes in Southern California.

Yea Delta has added a couple of direct flights from Bham to LA that sold out within a day. There will be a ton of Alabama fans out there, and a ton of Texas fans out there. I know of a few Alabama fans and a couple of my Texas friends that are going out there without tickets.

Anyone who thinks it will be 50-50 is crazy. It's just not possible. Texas fans have been buying tickets since the Oklahoma game. It might even be 70% Texas in there.

As I said, there is a HUGE Texas-Exes presence in this area. Thousands of them living here and they bought tickets a while back.

Texas fans do not travel better than us but they probably will for this game. Never count out the Alabama fanbase though, we are like maggots.

It will probably be about split. Alabama and TExas both travel well. I know a lot of people that are going to this game. I wish I was going but I can't justify spending that much money going to a football game.
The cheapest package I have found is about $2600.00/person and that is too much for me.

Actually, we do. We have one of the wealthiest fan bases in the nation.

You just compared your fanbase to maggots. That's awesome.

I'd be very suprised if you traveled better than us. And yes, Alabama fans spread like Maggots at away games.
