Is the coaching turnover to blame for Florida getting smoked by Bama? Not to take anything away from Bama; they played hard and obviously deserved to win. But it makes a little more sense now why Florida seemed so unprepared in that game.

Alabama is dealing with rumors with Kirby Smart, Jim McElwain, and Sal Sunseri.

Well, I'd say it matters no less than the average topic on this board.

some of it....FWIW there has been some very disturbing things leaking out the past few days about what went on the last two weeks of the season regarding players and coaches

I don't think so. We got handled pretty good.

Now, I do think you can say that maybe Corch wasn't pleased with the coaches.

No, Florida just wasn't in football mode, a ton of selfishness going around the last 2 weeks of the season.

Same way I feel about the Sugar Bowl last year. shite happens. Folks are highly paid professionals to do a job. Sometimes the better team just wins.

It's no so much the distraction associated with rumors of their leaving that I'm referring to. Obviously, these changes were in the works before this weekend. I'm suggesting that these coaches might have had other things on their minds besides schemeing to beat Bama.

One thing was that Ahmad Black's dad was pissed that his son didn't start the first game of the year versus Charleston Southern. Yes, I said Charleston Freaking Souther and 13 games ago.

Some other stuff about coaches hiding stuff from Coach and not being tough enough on them. Guys feeling like they were born on 3rd base too.

Big egos lead to lax effort IMO.

thanks roadgator, I was really pulling for you guys, not that I'm a Bama Hater because I will definitely be pulling for them now in MNC, but I really admire Tebow as an athlete and as a person. It definitely looked like Florida was not totally focused and now what you are saying would explain why this was the case. Thanks for the info.GEaux Gators, Geaux Bama, Geaux SEC and Thanks also gatorprincess.

Thanks again roadgator and gatorprincess, and roadgator I know how you feel, i still find it hard pulling for Bama and has nothing to do with Saban, I was at LSU during the Bear Bryant years so not a big love loss.

has more to do with the team becoming a bit divided...we had a group of players that basically mailed it in and became more worried about draft status rather than playing for their team...there is much more than that but thats some of it...sucks.. i feel bad for the committed players like tebow and spikes
