Do you now consider LSU to be beneath Alabama on the heels of 2 consecutive wins over us, or do you consider both teams being quite even in overall strength?

If the former, do you believe it's because of Miles' coaching ability as compared to Saban's?

You guys are fine. You were just the third best team in the league this year and happened to have the best two on your schedule. If you lose to UF and Bama again next year with a veteran QB then I would begin to worry.

I consider both teams fairly even.

Thanks, Capstone. Nice to get a little reassurance from a different (non-LSU) perspective.

This is the problem. I'm ALREADY worried about that. With all our talent, 3 years in a row is too many to make excuses for.

The way the games have played out, both Miles and Saban could easily be 3-0 or 0-3 in this series so far.

I think we are dead even. Y'all have a quarterback that is a sophomore and a first year starter. We have a QB that is a first year starter but has been in the system 4 years. LSU is a good football team.

I must say that I did wonder a little bit about y'alls conditioning in the 4th quarter but Moffit has always been a great S&C coach so I am not sure what's up with that.

LSU is fine and MIles is a good coach.

To be honest I think LSU has more talent than bama, but not much more. I think next year we will have more talent than LSU and will be equal to anybody in the country. I think Saban is a better coach than miles any day of the week. Alabam should not be this good now or last year. I think our best years are ahead of us. I also think LSU we be very good could beat us in the years to come, becuase between coaching, players, and recruiting everything is pretty equal. JMO

LSU simply has a coach who simply cant coach on the caliber that Saban and Meyer can in terms of game management and using talent where its needed WHEN its needed.

I do feel this way.

a lot of great coaching has to do with getting a couple of great recruits who turn out to be really great.

Would Meyer be quite as great without Tebow? no. he's still be a great coach though.

would saban be a really great coach this year without ingram?

you got to have those really special players. picture lsu with rohan davey this year, or glenn dorsey. we were a great player at qb or defensive lineman from making miles look like a genius. he has recruited well; just didn't have the guy on the roster this year.

LSU, Bama, Arkansas in next 3 years should be interesting

Ole Miss, State might surprise also, SEC from top to bottom is filled with talented coaches who can recruit. SEC will continue to be one of the better conferences in nation for years to go

The way I view Alabama is with total respect. Saban is getting you guys to a point where I don't know you can be stopped. You lost your starting QB and RB last year.....so what. Just go to 9-0 again with 2 different guys. Julio, Ingram, Richardson, Maze, Arenas -- all hard as hell to bring down. Toughness. I want us to recapture that mentality and ability. Please give Saban back

This will be a battle for years to come. The small intangbles(home field being an example ) and talent in KEY positions will be the difference.

I think they are on the roster but they are not on the field. I don't see how you can keep Russell Shepard on the bench but that is just my opinion and I amnot a football coach.

He costs them 1 delay of game/timeout/illegal formation penalty per game because he has no idea where to line up.
