Will the SEC appologize for Cody taking off his helmet before the ball was covered on the last play of the game?

A penalty clearly should have been called. Since it was after the kick but not 4th down, I am not sure that UT would have been eligilble for a 4th down play if it crossed the line of scrimage.

Just an interesting point...

The game was over. No reason to make that call.

the game was not over- replay just the game still in progress- flag should have been thrown- and a re kick

Game was not over. The ball was still live, no whistle had been blown, and it was a penalty during play, meaning Tennessee might have A) gotten another kick and B) gotten 15 yards closer.

And AJ Green shouldn't have gotten a excessive celebration penalty called on him. GET OVER IT!

Do I think that the call should be made - No, bama blocked the shite out of that kick and deserved to win at that point.

Does the rules state that the flag should have been thrown and the kick re-tried 15 yards closer - Yes. SEC Refs are SUCKING IT UP and its not fair to all teams involved.

It was over. The kick was blocked and tenn could not have advanced it. Once the block was made the game was over.

Difference here is, we rammed it down their throat and scored a TD after a 40 yard return. They got the same call, got a bullshite return and couldn't do squat.

Games not over until the play is blown dead. Dude threw his helmet off with a second on the clock.

Again, do I think it should be called - NO.

Should it have been called because of rules? - YES

It doesn't matter if the play is still live. It's a USC. All USC fouls are treated as a dead ball foul and enforced from the succeeding spot.

It was Bama's ball after the kick was blocked and it crossed the line of scrimmage. We could have been flagged for a pussy 15 yard penalty but it would of still been our ball.

Game. Set. Match.

Technically, it became bama's ball when the two bama defenders covered the ball. Had UT covered the blocked kick behind the line of scrimage it would have been UTs ball. Bama recovered so the game ended with the correct score.

However, a flag technically should have been thrown.
