Jevan Snead still sucks, although he has somehow (miraculously) has not thrown an INT through one quarter of football.

Free Nathan Stanley.

Spoke too soon...Jevan just hit a wide open Lionel Breaux for a touchdown (I know, I'm shocked as well).

Score is OM 14, UAB 0 2nd Q.

Rodney Scott (true freshman RB) not looking too shabby.

Ole Miss 20, UAB 0 2nd Q.

I've noticed two things about this game (since I already knew Brandon Bolden was darn good):

Rodney Scott is damn good.

UAB is pretty bad.

It doesn't have to be. I'm about to give up my duties as score keeper (the Reb fans aren't even paying attention) to watch the game and get a few things done around the house.

By the way, SLC. I know moral victories stink, but my hat's off to you guys today. I do hope, however, that your team is so devastated by the loss that they come out and lay an egg against us.

Quit hating on Snead. He's good. Our line just needs to block better.

He'll have to prove to me that he's good again (and if he does, I'll keep hating as that might be the thing that's making him good. Superstitious, ya know).

Oops. I missed this part of your post. That was quite true for the South Carolina game. That was quite false for the Bama game. He had much more time, he just likes throwing at people's feet and to the other team.

Jevan has completed every pass he's thrown since I mentioned his overall poorness. I'm going to start bad-mouthing the hell out of him every Saturday. He might win the Heisman.

I hope Ole Miss gets back on track. The Rebel defense is very good. If Snead gets back in his groove, then they'll have a great year.

I'm not kidding. He was 5 of 10 for 40+ yards and no TDs when I made my original post. He's currently 15 of 22 for 240 and 3 TDs, no picks.
