Memphis, it's only a couple hours away and a lot more fun than Stark Vegas.

There are some first come RV parking spots on the South end of campus. The ones North of the stadium and North of Dudy Noble are reserved. Not much in the way of motels in Starkville. I would think they are booked for that game. Columbus might have a few (30 miles East of Starkville on US82)

Thats pretty terrible and true that the best place to stay is almost 3 hours away. I can recommend a closer location: Oxford or Jackson. If you like gambling, theres a casino in Philadelphia which isn't far at all from Starkville.

Since I don't gamble I forget about all of the casino areas in MS.

How far from the Stadium is the KOA on 82?

Is it possible to get a RV pass for the game?

I think it depends on what time Friday you can get there. South part of campus are no hookups so you have to be totally self contained. I would call the athletic office and ask if they sell out of spots. The way LSU travels though, I would think you would have to get there as soon as they allow it - like Noon or so on Friday, maybe.
I have researched it a bit because they have such a long waiting list for reserved spots that I couldn't get one and have been looking at some RVs. Pretty sure I would end up down there for the first few years. BTW - it's a pretty good hike so bring your golf cart.

I agree with this. Sure Starkvegas isn't a party town. But I am not going there for vacation I am going to watch the tigers kick arse.

If your "RV" is normally mounted on cinder blocks, then Starkville has many "parks" to put it in.

looked for a hotel in the area could not find anything close. The wife wants to haul the fifth wheel up there so I guess I will be looking for a rv pass by the stadium or a rv park close to the stadium
