I guess this is the team that everyone in the SEC has to pull for now. Obviously no one can give any credit to a team that just beat them on their home field. These threads saying ifFlynn was still there it would have been a different game and so on. He is not there. If we look at it like that, I say Derrick Thomas would have sacked Flynn 9 times So everyone go on and live vicariously through Florida just because you all hate Bama. If Bama beats Florida in the SECCG its only because Emmitt Smith wasn't running the ball. The same group of people that say they are sick of Tebow and Florida with the espn garbage in our faces all of the time, would suck him off if it meant they would beat Bama. Sorry guys but I just made it back to my hotel room and the bourbon is still in full effect, not to mention whatever the hell those pills were that some beautiful coeds gave me. I should really be in a better mood. One great f'n game nonetheless on both sides, although both sides looked like shite for the most part

Even if we run the table and win it all, people on this website will find a way to discredit it. Don't worry about it.

Fwiw, if we play like we did yesterday against Florida, we will get raped.

tygerstripes i'm with you on the sugar bowl part if that turns out to be the case. I was told that I had a great time last night, it will probably be twice the fun if we end up in NO. That Miami trip 9 years ago seems almost like a past life to some degree

it will be very exciting to see you in the sugar bowl against the 2nd place big 12 team. i think that you would have played the two best teams in the country two weeks in a row if this happens. especially if oklahoma loses to t.t.

I think we would be better off with the 2nd place big 12 right now than getting Utah Or Boise. Those two scare me for some reason

Have to say Gators look to be the best SEC team at this point, however Bama reminds me alot of past Auburn teams that seem to give the Gators problems.

I give Bama credit for exceeding all expectations this season. I'm especially happy for the players who play for Bama. They endured a lifetime of change in just one year that will serve each player well in life's journey of ups and downs and how to deal with it. The poor souls who could not change and are off the team and some of them in jail, will have a horrible life to live unless they can somehow understand what they gave up. RP falls into this category. So the human story behind the scenes of the Bama football program is where the real story is. If Bama is fortunate enough to win it all this year I'm sure every player and coach will be reduced to tears after their final game. I guess we will not know until Atlanta if this is a possibility.

I give Bama no credit. They will get steamrolled by Florida in the SEC champ game. Any Bama fan who does not see it coming is a fool.

I give Bama tons of credit! They're a great team.

But I still think they will get beat by a few TDs to Florida. But this takes nothing away from the Tide. The Gators are unreal.

you really think Bama is great?

Would you pick them over any of these teams on a neutral field?

Florida
USC
Texas Tech
Oklahoma
Texas

I wouldn't. Put them on the same level as Penn State and Ohio State this year.

Bama is a good team, no doubt. But they don't have a single great win this year. We find amazing ways to lose this year with a freshman QB, UGA is nowhere near as good as their preseason hype, and Clemson is just awful. Bama was fortunate to get by us, Kentucky, and Ole Miss.....not the makings of a great team if you look at their entire season.

Our O-Line was handling Bama, and their offense wasn't overly impressive either. Lee basically gave them 14 points (broken record for LSU fans) and they pulled of an overtime win. A great team would have crushed us. A good team sneaks by.

i actually think it will be closer..say 37-28..bama has the advantage on the o-line..and florida doesnt have a power back like LSU does..tebow will be forced to scramble and throw to his all world wideout PH..but i say florida will pull it out late

Many Bama fans, and others, have done that with LSU last year.

Welcome to being a victim of success.

UF is a great football team

UF tears Gumps a new one in SECCG IMHO. Been wrong before though.

Thats not taking anything away from the Gumps win yesterday. But I just don't see you hanging with the Gaytors at all

With no big turnovers or mistakes I think we can beat them.

With fumbles and key holding penalties like yesterday... long day.

Congratulations. You win "Douchebag of the Week". What a fine representative of your state and LSU you are. Dickhead.

Jealousy will get you nowhere. Eeking out a win yesterday showed me all I needed to know about Bama. I was not insulting you, your team, or your state. So quit being butt hurt. Try being objective for a moment. What advantage do you see Bama having over Florida, because I cannot find a single one? Bama does not stand a chance against Florida, period. Enjoy the title of SEC West champions because whether or not you choose to acknowledge it, it is a step up from where your program was last year.
