It's like Buckeyes on OSU helmets.
Just given to players for big plays they make, TDs, team goals, etc.
ETA: In general, the better/more productive players have the most.

I don't think so Buckeye fan. I think they're for academic accomplishments. The white bones are for on the field football accomplishments.
UGA fans need to speak on this to clarify for sure.

Ahh, you're right. I forgot about this. I was just thinking he meant the bones in general. I forgot UGA does that. Also, IMO FWIW, I think that's a great tradition.

always wondered what all the stickers are for, i know that they are for certain accomplishments, but all in all, i think they are a little tacky. i like just seeing the helmets without all the extras on them.

I like it when teams do this. I don't want to see LSU do it because I think Clemson already puts tiger paw stickers on their helmets.
