What would you get? Has to be a wood stock also.

Price is for rifle only. Glass, rings, etc is already accounted for.

I'd get a fluted stainless Savage in .270. Buy a replacement custom wood stock and glass bed it. Spend the rest on ammo

Anyone ever fooled with the weatherby vanguard, Winchester model 70 featherweight, or a browning x-bolt? I grabbed onto those, along with a tikka and a 700 cdl the other day and I'm kinda torn between those 3. I had no problems with the tikka and I know all the BS about Remington, even though they all felt sturdy as shite.

What's the difference in the t3 and the t3x?
Anything drastic? What about the hunter vs forest?

I've got a Marlin .357 lever action. Wood stock. Is that close enough? lol

Save yourself some money and buy the Howa if your heart is set on one. Same gun just different trim level.

Buy a lower end/less expensive gun and spend as much money on optics as possible. Can't shoot what you can't see.

One of the best shooting (accurate)guns I own is an old Savage Model 111. Had an 8 lb trigger pull when I bought it. Worked the trigger down to about 2.5 lbs and that thing is a freaking tack driver.

Hard to beat a Remington, IMO. So many guns/models are based off the 700 series/action. Great gun that won't break the bank. Optics, Optics, Optics.

Winchester Model 70 Super Grade. Or, if possible, negotiate down to $1200.00 on a Mauser M12.
