it's gotten laughably easy to do this year

I haven't been patted down once this year.

My freshman year in 09 they used to make us empty our pockets, pull our pants above our shoes, and then they would pat us down.

From what I understand, when the clusterfrick happened after the 07 Alabama game and the whole student section threw stuff on the field, the SEC commissioner or someone was on the field and got hit with something, and he told Pete Boone to "do something about this or I will", thus the searches.

Another legend from that game is that a red high heel shoe was thrown onto the field.

I guess we've paid for our sins now, because I've snuck in a full 5th in my waistband 3 weeks in a row.

Maybe Bjork told them to let us now so we are more likely to stay for full game haha.

I actually was told by someone the other day that Bjork told security to lighten up.

I remember the red shoe on the field. I don't think I've seen anyone patted down this year.

Most of the guys I go to the game with haven't had a problem getting anything in.

I remember the picture in the dM that Monday. Front page was field level (as in like camera in te ground) and it had the red high heel and back a little behind to you could see like a pint of Jack.

To me that has always summed up my time at Ole Miss for football. Bama fans go to games for the product in the field. As I'm the football teams theirselves. We went to games for the product on the field too. The whiskey and heels haha.

Good thing though is that that mindset seems to finally be changing a little bit.

I'll be there. We will be making the rest of our surrounding area stand up and get loud.

Going to both games, section A row 32 for Mizzou and section 306 for the state game. Hotty Toddy!

There is still no place on Earth I would rather be than in Oxford come game day.

Apparently ESPN disagrees.
