To say that Siskey had no effect is just silly. They said he was working with the defense ALL WEEK. Even the announcers said it looked like they knew what we were running.

We were within 2 scores of the #1 team for 4 quarters. I say we have a pretty good fricking team and were plays away from being right there.

I agree, that would be silly.. good thing I didn't say that..

I also didn't say we had a bad team. I think we're a good team actually. Do you think we're an upper tier SEC team? I don't. That doesn't mean we're not good though.

We were a couple of plays away. But we didn't make those plays. That's not Siskeys fault as everyone wants to believe though. That just means we're not there as a team yet. And that's Okay. We won 2 games two seasons ago. We're getting better and moving in the right direction.

I don't know what all the complaining is about.. I'm not mad at our team. I thought we made some stupid coaching decisions and was disappointed with the way our offense played because I thought we would move the ball better but I'm not upset with the loss. We played very well. The score just doesn't show it.

Would everyone feel better had we kicked 3 field goals and lost 25-9? Because it wouldn't change my feelings on the game at all fwiw

You don't change the system. You can change signals.

We had chances to make plays a didn't. IDGAF about Siskey. That's just a pussy's excuse.

My thoughts exactly.. its just an excuse on why we sucked last night. Just accept we sucked last night and move on. Gonna have to be better to beat Auburn next week

Meh, Siskey was a factor but not the reason we lost. Funny how it wasn't an issue before the game, and now it is. I mean, does everyone expect him to sit back with his feet kicked up and finger across his lips?

We knew before hand that this was going to be an issue and we should have adjusted for it.

I also think, as another poster stated, that his intimate knowledge of our system allowed to call out what was happening from seeing the formation and sets we were in ... not just the signals.

We played very poorly on offense and with how our defense played they deserved to have the offense put up points.

I never really expected to win this game but I did envision our offense playing better though, but hey we are 3-1 and still in a wonderful position.

Let's learn from this moment and then put it behind us. We have another Bama team to play in that god forsaken state and this time I want, expect to win.

Hotty Toddy! Let's go Rebes!!!

When they showed him in the box last night, you could clearly see him mouth "pass" and sure enough the play was a pass to Engram.

Well then your coach let you down and he came through for his.

From press conference today:
quote:

Ryan Aplin played QB for both Freeze and Malzahn at Ark State. Aplin now on Ole Miss staff after playing QB for Malzahn last season. Freeze said Aplin will be moved from press box to field this Saturday to avoid any look of impropriety during game. He says Aplin, though, will be involved in game planning.

Why doesn't Freeze just suspend him for the game? Freeze said impropriety so he has obviously at least considered cheating.

Y'all cannot honestly think that he would have made That big of a difference. Y'all went into Tuscaloosa and played the #1 team in the country. They have treadwells, nkimdichies and conners all over the field

Fans will do their best to rationalize a loss... and on message boards fans complain about stuff.

People have if there's any perception of shady behavior by an outside force, Ole Miss fans (thanks to our losing history) will struggle to let it go.
