Do you have an image or an idea of what you want the table to look like? You say farmhouse style table.. I draw a blank. But I'd be interested to see what it is you are looking to build

Here's one he recently built (it's square, so not really farmhouse):

Got to listen to a presentation by probably the World's foremost expert of endovascular neurosurgery but do plan on trying to get to the range and knock some holes in paper!

I see. Yeah that should be a good weekend project.
I prefer the darker version maybe not as square in the dimensions. Something just appealing about the darker wood.

Will do. It may be a few weeks until complete. The black walnut I picked up today is pretty much in the raw and straight from the sawmill. Probably do the base this weekend, and maybe start on the top, but let it dry before finishing and final assembly.

Finally got to play 9 holes for the first time this year at the Links. Shot 7 over so I was pleased with that. Im pumped that winter is over

Not 100% crazy about the "legs" wish it had 4 normal legs instead of the bottom frame it has. But overall pretty happy with it. He is also almost finished with a bench that matches the same style for one of the sides

Good looking table. I have a bunch of barn planks that look like that. They may have a new use.
