I'm reading that only upcoming seniors will be able to transfer. Not sure how accurate that is though

This is nuts. I think we need to just wait until it comes out officially because there seems to be a lot of misinformation out there or lack of clarity with some things.

Does this at least mean that we can fire Jeffrey Vitter?

What this means is:

Breeland
Lodge
VJ
Rawlings
Sims
Javon Patterson
Ken Webster
Zedrick Woods
Bing Dukes
Ta'amu

Are some of our impact next year seniors who could transfer if they wanted to. I don't see that happening, but it would be a big hit to depth if things took a turn for the worse

Tamu, Patters, Sims, and Rawlings only ones that would bother me if they transfer. VJ played all year like he didn't give a damn and honestly I could see some of the same in Lodge. We're going to be alright let's just settle down and wait for the official report.

I've thought this, but this is the first time I've seen someone else voice this. Lodge could have had an amazing year if he played with a little more effort. He came up short on several deep balls this year with one in the LSU game immediately sticking out in my mind. VJ had drops at times that weren't typical of him. He seemed like he was going through motions at times.

So if I'm reading that correctly, we self-imposed 10, but only 3 have actually been imposed so far. We were going to impose 4 in the upcoming class and that's now going to be 6 and then 4 in the 2018-2019 season. Is that correct?

If it's 13 scholarships total it's not that bad. If it's 24 total it's terrible lol

Looks like 13 total and only seniors transferring is true.

Damn we got off light.

I'm still seeing people quoted saying anyone can transfer and it's a guarantee the ncaa will waive the restriction. That can't be right can it?

Vitter just sent out a email to students that we are appealing the 2018 bowl ban. We'll see how well that goes

Well then why wouldn't the NCAA just allow any player to transfer without having to sit out a year? Sounds like butthurt from other fans.

Yeah I think he sent that out to everyone. I mean I guess it doesn't matter at this point. Either they decline the appeal or it works itself out over the course of the season.
