We showed last year we can turn it around after an embarrassing loss. Chad feeds off of big games and the atmosphere will work in our favor. The rivalry is real and everyone knows it, I think it's a close game and we win by 7. We start with a big lead and let y'all play catchup as we go 3 and out a couple of times and our defense gets gassed in the second half. This time we hold on to the lead and squeak one out. 35-27 Rebels.

It's a rivalry game. I think you guys come out ready to roll. What's the deal with the WR's and dropped passes?

Well it was like 5 or 6 passes and it was just one game. They've never done that to that extent to my knowledge before. But man did they seem to come at the worst times. If you could give me 2 or 3 of those drops back, and not for touchdowns mind you, the outcome would likely have been different. But alas, that's not possible.

We match up pretty well. Etling is a statue so not having to worry about stopping QB contain and scrambles is a huge benefit to our terrible LBs. We basically can sell out to stop the run, so the D should be improved.

We will be able to move the ball between the 20s fairly well, but I fear our red zone productivity on offense.

We are one of the best teams in the country inside the red zone iirc. At least we were before last week. I can't remember how we fared there.

Because he's white?

You won't see many designed QB runs, if any at all. But from what we've seen of him, he's decent enough at moving within the pocket and has shown some ability to break the pocket if he needs to. He's not a dual threat guy but he's not a Mettenberger where the play is dead if he's pressured. Problem is the son of a bitch refuses to slide and he's been walloped a few times. And he ALWAYS rolls to his right. His ability to allude pressure and keep some plays alive has been an asset. But as the film on him grows you can bet SEC coaches are taking note of him always rolling right when he's pressured.

Nice gifs . Etling isn't scared to run but boy he'll take a hit doing it.

I think y'all should run it pretty well on us, but we are going to try and force you to throw it. Y'all should be able to put up some points. We will also put up points, but I hope our defense doesn't get tired. If we can jump out to an early lead, it won't allow lsu to take their time on the ground like they would like, which is our best hope. We have to start fast to win it. Should be a good game.

We just played like crap against an Ark team that has a lot less talent than LSU. I considered this game a sure win to start the season. Now, i am expecting Chad to do something stupid like Bo Wallace two years ago. We lose by two td's.

Our downfall this entire year, and actually throughout freezes time here, is learning how to play with a lead. We can't "protect" it by running the ball. That's just not us. We have to just build on it and keep going. If we don't score while trying to, it's better than not scoring while trying to protect our lead. Hopefully we fix that this weekend, but I've got my doubts.

Ole Miss is gonna move the ball - key is coverting RZ opportunities to TDs (Football 101, I know).

Regardless Ole Miss is a cut above athletically than any team LSU has played this year, especially on offense.

Should be a close game.

Sitting here watching Wisconsin dump it down to their back out of the backfield. I'd love to see OM do a little of this tonight whenever there is time. Surely Judd and Brazley can catch little dump passes out in the flat or just over the line of scrimmage. Sure would help to extend drives and keep our defense off the field. We don't have to throw it 30 plus yards every time.
