This winningest coach argument doesn't work when he simply changed our schedule when he came in for an easier OOC slate and we still drop games that are fricking awful.
Yeah this is bullshite. We played a garbage OOC with Barnes too.

Yeah Marshall. Oh and Murphy, Buckner, Jarvis, Snoop, etc. All players he got to come play in the flipping Tad Pad, but he doesn't get any credit for that.... Ok
Who is Ole Miss basketball to get rid of the only coach to bring any kind of exposure to the program?
Rod Barnes was more successful than Kennedy and we got rid of him.

Yeah and that was followed up by 4 losing seasons before Kennedy took over.

Depends what your definition of success is.
Rod Barnes SEC record: 50-78
Andy Kennedy SEC record: 67-65
Not to mention Barnes didn't have to come in to a team that had 4 straight losing seasons. He replaced a guy who had been to the ncaa tournament 2 straight years.

Those seven years were still more successful than 7 under Kennedy though.

I'm not trying to pretend Kennedy has been wildly successful. He's had success but I feel like he has greatly under achieved at times. However, I sat through several games of Rod Barnes coached teams and no he was not more successful than Kennedy. He took over a NCAA tourney caliber team and couldn't sustain it. Barnes also was coaching in an SEC that didn't have this national perception that the conference sucks, and he was able to get in to the tournament with a 20-13 (8-8) and a 20-11 (9-7) team. Kennedy had at least one maybe two teams better than that that didn't get in.
