Three biggest needs:
1. Big RB
2. DE's that can rush the passer
3. QB competition between Bo/Switchblade/Buchanon

Oh and did I mention we need to work on some new short yardage packages. Good gosh.

That is all.

Short yardage is huge. We run brunetti all year and it works and this game we decide RN needs to do this

In the Mizz game everyone was asking why would we run Brunetti and stop the flow the offense had going. This week it is why did Nkemdiche try to run on 3rd and short. The issue had nothing to do with the RB or who was running the ball. The OL just got beat every time on 3rd and short.

Also we have two speed rushing DE's in CJ Johnson and Carlos Thompson who are both out for the season.

MSU had a good defense. We couldn't get anything going down the field. That was the issue.

Disagree bro! In mizz we brought in brunetti not for short yardage but for several full drives.

Exactly. Freeze needs more good recruiting classes. When he came in, out depth was non-existent. He needs 3-5 recruiting years to get the right guys in, as does any coach.

Hopefully he will, and I guess we'll find out for sure come signing day in a few months. We need to win our bowl game now though

Also to be a little optimistic we are playing with the depth right now.

Morris was a starter on the OL. Engram as well as Christian Morgan were the starting TEs. Jeff Scott was the starting RB. Charles Sawyer was the starting safety. Senquez Golson wasn't on the field(not sure what was wrong with him) CJ Johnson is out for the season and is a starter. Carlos Thompson is out for the season and is the backup speed rusher. Laremy Tunsil is a starter and was out.

We just don't have the depth yet to have that many guys go down. It is a journey. Recruiting will get us there.

Why is Freeze so oblivious to RN running abilities. He would be y'alls best RB.

Congrats on going 6-6 in year 5... I'm sure your coach will get a raise before your bowl game.

3. QB competition between Switchblade/Buchanon

Bo Wallace deserves to never step on another football field after that game. 3 Picks and a game losing fumble on a for sure TD run in OT?

What we need:
1. A down hill north-south running back. Pound it between the tackles. I think if we had that we'd be a dangerous running team with the option plays.
2. O-line that blocks. Tunsil is a beast, had some growing pains earlier but has gotten better. Bell has played pretty well until last night, CJ did some work on him.
3. A game managing/smart qb. Look I get not all the pics were Bo's fault(tipped/deflected passes), but you can't run to the right and throw across your body into double coverage.
4. Either Hugh call all the the plays or let the OC do it. Also we need to use the all out tempo more, seemed like when we get up to the line and go(none of the walk up to the line and stand there and change the play) we moved the ball.
5. Wr's and Te's are pretty good, just need sticker gloves. Sometimes it did feel like donte completely disappeared from games, but I feel like we didn't target him as much as last year.
6. Bring the freaking blitz more!!! Holy crap get some pressure on the qb so they can't just stand there and pick the secondary apart. The d-line can't get enough pressure. RN is double teamed every play and our end play hasn't been good. I'm thinking next year that d-line set up with gross, RN and CJ next to each other will be beastly, when they were on the line together vs Texas it was pretty darn good.

We've got Jordan Wilkins. He appears to be a big back especially after a year redshirting and conditioning. Not sure why he didn't play this year. My guess is that Freeze didn't want to play all his fresman rb's and dodson and his dad cried when we were going to rs him. If dodson takes the rs, does wilkins get put in the later games? Should have probably rs'ed moore too.

The batted passes are on Bo also. I have never seen a 6'5" qb get as many passes batted as he does. He is totally unaware of the passing lanes.

I hope like hell one of the freshmen blossom over the spring and take the job from Bo. He single handily lost that game the other night. It was an embarrassment to football.

Wilkins had a knee injury during his senior year of hs. Redshirt year makes sure it's healed up good.
