This is the Clarion-Ledger, but still. Any members of the tBearRant planning on protesting?

No and I doubt there will be many that actually protest. The ones that protest shouldn't be given their degrees.

Pick another time and place to do a meaningless protest. Graduation weekend is a weekend of celebration and family. Not for some protest that won't get anything done except annoy people.

Yes, those who dare to question or disagree with authority should be punished with impunity. Even if they're protesting a relatively heinous and unpopular law with a respectful show of support for their fellow Mississippians. That's what they deserve for believing in basic human dignity and justice.

Like he said, do it somewhere else.

This is a historic day for everyone walking across that stage and a proud moment for their families.

Just because it annoys you shouldn't preclude them from graduating. If they've completed the academic requirements then they shouldn't be stopped, particularly f they're just exercising their first amendment rights.

And withholding their degree over this would somehow not be petty bullshite?

There's a time and place for doing stuff like that. Graduation weekend is not the time or place for it.
