Shea isn't near as good as Bo Wallace under 15 yards and isn't as good as Swag Kelly over 20 yards. Shea hasn't done shite against a competent defense this year. At this point in his development he isn't better than Bo Wallace. It didn't really matter because we couldn't stop the run at all but it was pretty clear Shea was very inaccurate when he came back into the game.

I'll eat my crow if I'm wrong, but I think this is a good thing.

I can't honestly say if this is good or bad. I think the way I feel has way more to do with Ta'amu than Shea. If I hadn't seen flashes of what Ta'amu can do over the last two weeks I'd think we are really screwed, but it's obvious he can run and it looks as if he can throw it, too. I do hate this royally for Shea. He's still go a ways to go to be the college QB I know he wants to be and this is a shitty setback for sure.

It wasn't enough to change the game, but our receivers have got to make some plays on those deep balls. Lodge missed a few. Metcalf has to make some plays.

True sophomore. Chad had much more experience than Shea so I'm not sure these are fair comparisons. Chad threw a lot of jump balls too and receivers made plays. That's part of it. Lodge and Metcalf need to come away with some of these balls.

I hope Jordan does well, but just haven't seen enough of him to tell.

BTW who's the backup now, Pellerin?

Better get Pellerin ready.

He plays very little at TE.

They have two other qbs on the roster besides Faniel. I know Pellerin has a strong arm but I don't remember him completing any passes.

Chad Kelly was a freaking baller. He had the "it" factor. Shea had a ways to go.

First of all he needs to stop overthrowing Wr's. Chad hardly ever missed an open WR.

They both are/were throwing to the same caliper Wr's.
