Thoughts?

Obviously the game sucked, but personally I had a fantastic road trip out to the West Coast. I went to my old fraternity and they fed me booze. The bar scene was solid. Venturing around SF was lots of fun. I drank a beer at the Flower Shop from the Room. I fished under the Golden Gate Bridge. Just objectively tons of fun. Wondering any other Ole Miss experiences that won't be immediately be buried.

I dislike Berkeley a lot, but ate good drunk food at Gypsies and had a good time at a nice bar/biergarten. Berkeley is still filthy and frankly I would never venture there unless there was a worthwhile game.

If you go the Bay Area, Napa, SF, Palo Alto, Tiburon, and Muir Beach are all way better places to visit than Berkeley.

If we have to play another Pac12 team, based on location, I would hope we play Stanford.

How were y'all treated by the fans? I would have went if we were playing USC, UCLA, or the GOAT Stanford

Shockingly well. They were nice, although I only spent a few hours total in Berkeley. I stayed in SF mostly with my friend and his friend group, but they (the friend group since my friend lived in Atlanta for a year) were very curious to pick my mind since they don't deal with people from the South much and knew that their ignorance and piety led to the loss of the election. One interesting thing I found out but didn't notice them initially saying was the San Franciscans have started saying y'all, now thinking we Southerners were right about saying it over "you guys".

I may have been a bit of a freak show for them, but everyone was super nice, bought me drinks, and went out of their way to be highly hospitable. Best Rebel road trip I've been on, and all of my immediate Rebel friends agreed at least before the kickoff since I didn't hang out with them too much after it.

It's almost like people are people, and we mostly get along when we're not talking shite on the internet.

I'm still too hungover to post an in depth trip report, but it went well. We got yelled at twice pre-game, but it was by college kids trying to be cute. Everyone played it off and laughed. We were treated well by the Cal fans and offered food/drinks everywhere we went, and most just wanted to talk Ole Miss football and the Grove. I really don't remember post game too much, as we drank our way through that shite show of a game. According to our sober bail money guy, we went to a few bars with Cal fans and had a pretty fun time before we all got our cards pulled and were forced to go back to the hotel before something bad happened.
