Rather play Vandy or Martin as opener?

I'd have Vandy as the permanent opener.

Would let Martin break up our stretch of Aggy, Auby, Arky, Tiger hi, bye-week, and Moo State.

The opener needs to change or else the game gets stale. Case study: series with Memphis.

Are these two really THAT different? Vandy lost to Temple last year and, best I could tell, didn't really improve from that point on.

ETA: TEMPLE!!!

I disagree. I would like it. Open it with a SEC foe and make it a regular thing. Kinda like how UGA plays USCe early in season and some of those things.

That being said I do like the opening with power 5 foes as well. So I don't know really.

Temple was pretty tough last year. They're returning a lot from last years team and are a trendy pick to upset Penn State week one. Big things on the horizon in Philly. You keep an eye on the Owls in '15

If I can I will avoid watching a single down of Temple Owls football.

Well that's a shame. I see them going 12-0 and possibly in the playoff discussion

I'm obviously fricking around. The guy above was making Temple out to be on par with Alcorn State or something and I was just pointing out that they weren't terrible. Anyway this thread is pretty stupid as we'll kick the shite out of the two aforementioned teams.

Nope. I am saying a team that they beat 37-7 last year is not that much better than UT Martin.

Neither. Loved the game against Boise last year and would have loved the game against Clemson this year (if they had not chickened out). Not sure how I feel about traveling to Orlando to play FSU though.

Wouldn't mind Vandy as the second game and leave the first game open to a strong ooc game.

Sucessful opener on all fronts. But how about our fans? 60,100 strong (unofficial count) into VHS and the white out presence in full effect!
