Ok. Who else is in Oregons region? I heard before that Rice may be. Is that true? If so if we take care of business what is the likelyhood of Oregon getting knocked out and is hosting a Super?

2) Rice
3) San Francisco
4) South Dakota St

And I would say pretty weak... Even though I think NCST is better than Oregon, they have a weak regional. Rice is an alright team, but they have yet to beat a top 50 team. Oddly enough, I think the 3-seed has the best chance to knock off Oregon. Just need to win our own regional though, and let the rest just fall into place.

Us hosting a Super would be absolutely crazy considering how bad we are but it's actually kind of realistic

Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not looking ahead and saying we are for sure gonna win. I was just curious what was on the other side.

Yeah we would break every attendance record in college baseball if we hosted a super regional. Could you imagine how crazy right field would be that weekend

Haha yeah I know... Just with Ole Miss sports, I try to keep from looking ahead as much as possible. And it certainly a difficult regional for Oregon, but the possibility of an upset is there if Rice or San Fran can get a hot streak going.

NC State baseball schedule/results
If the NC State team from the first half of the year shows up we stand a good chance but if team from the second half shoes up we could be in a lot of trouble. They had like 15 straight wins at one point

Yeah they ended the season very well, hopefully they won't stay hot though. They have the advantage in batting, but we have the advantage in pitching. Other than Rodon, they are a very average team when it comes to pitching

But then again we suck donkey dick hitting wise. They match up well against us

I agree, we will really struggle against Rodon... Hopefully Wahl can keep that game close and we can get some timely hits late in the game to pull it out.

Our hitting needs to get going for us to have any chance, we need someone other than Turner to really step up.

Yes it would. Will Allen and Preston being a little more consistent would be great too

In postseason baseball the most important hitters in the lineup are your #5 and #6 guys.. They are the ones that usually come up with 2 or 3 men on and 2 outs... That's where you do damage.. Which means Bousfield and Orvis need to get their heads out of their asses and hit the damn baseball... No one is going to let Tuner beat them... If Stu comes up and first base is open and there's at least one out in the inning the opposing coach will walk him from here on out.

Bousfield has been doing alright this season, we really need Sikes to step up though. I always hate seeing him coming up to bat in key situations.

Is anyone making the trip to Raleigh for the regional?

Probably not... If we had been in Blacksburg or Charlottesville though I would have made the drive.

So, on to William & Mary... Anyone know anything about their team?

Yeah I have a couple friends who go there, and most of them didn't even know they had a team haha. They seem to have 1 good pitcher and some descent bats, but that's really it.
