Oxford bakers on cake wars

The bakers that make all the cakes for recruiting weekends are on cake wars right now. Before y'all take my man card my gf was in the bed room and told me to come watch, I was watching six, which I can't decide if that's good or not.

Saw it on twitter, at the beginning I thought he was out of his league.
But that background in carpentry paid off. He crushed those other contestants not even close.

What was the concept?
I bet they can make a Vaught stadium style cake with a small grove/Lyceum/ walk of champs arch

Apparently each show has a theme and this episode's theme was the 100 birthday of the author that wrote James and the giant peach, the big friendly giant and several others and they had to make different cakes based on that guy's books.

Heyyyyyy same here. Did the helmet, football, and jersey for me. Pretty sure it was the hit of the wedding from the way everyone was talking about it.

The grove....had trees, walk of champions, tents (asked that one was powder blue). they also added a few personal requests in there that made in perfect!
