Depends on if we land Miquelon Juarez.
But if not we definitely need to move on from him. He can't catch a secondary.
That was a bad experiment

I just don't understand why we don't trim fat. Batoon hasn't done a thing. Why keeps him?
Fire Luke, hire Cristobal
Fire Batoon, hire Allen as Co-DC or DC.

I don't know enough about defense to judge him, but if he lands Mique Juarez, that will be huge, but we should never sacrifice coaching for the sake of recruiting.

Jarrett Anderson at TCU is a veteran OL coach and squeezes every ounce out of the talent they get. Patterson's philosophy is solid -- just look at Fuentes at Memphis, a Patterson disciple.
I've watched their offensive line all year, and they do an extremely good job with the talent they get. Since they're not used to getting the blue-chippers, they have to take the leftovers and develop them into stars. And they do a pretty damn good job at it.
They have other personnel worth a look, as well. I'm the last person that looks to retreads, but I rather look at productivity. It served Clemson well when they stole away Brent Venables.

Ole Miss fans amaze me. In every sport fans latch on to certain guys and no matter what they do people want them fired. Kennedy is the best basketball coach in program history and people want him fired every year. Bianco always seems to be on the hot seat even those baseball was hot garbage before his arrival. Luke just had 230 and 156 yard performances with the guys he expected to play with this year and guys are still calling for his head.
Batoon we have no idea what hand he has in recruiting. Freeze knows how to recruit. He very well may have been able to hold on to a great up and coming recruiter. Relax.

Most rational fans, and I dare say that's like 95 percent, do not want and have not wanted Kennedy or Bianco fired. Now Luke, that might be a different story.

95% are rational? Man please. They may not want them fired at this very moment but there were times people were calling for their heads. Those guys are the two best HC in their respective sports in our program history.

My 95% is not limited to these message boards. Of course some of these clowns are gonna hang out on the irrational edge more often than not.

We had 558 yards of offense and people are calling for the OC head lol

A lot of it comes down to whether or not you want to be good, or if you want to be a winner. They are not the same thing by a long shot. Some people support records, and some people support championships. Depends what you put your money behind.
There are lots of good coaches, but very few champions. People gauge success in different ways.

I've thought our offense has been just fine since Werner started calling 80% of the plays. It's dumb mistakes that slow us up not the play calling. At least the last couple weeks.

4th year coach in SEC and he has done more than any coach for Ole Miss since Johnny Vaught.
Yes there are some issues, these guys haven't been perfect.
But under difficult situations they continue to improve and continue to improve the lives of the young men who they coach.
This isn't Nick Saban taking over Alabama. This is Hugh Freeze building Ole Miss to a respectable program, after 45 years of overcoming the perception of a school full of racist in a state with a reputation of being the worst when it comes to racial equality.
Those so called traditions that many refuse to let go of, have done more to keep Ole Miss from being successful than anything this coaching staff is teaching.
This isn't Alabama, we don't have 12 4 and 5 star offensive linemen on the roster. Maybe we can get there in the future, but we won't ever get there if we continue to berate the coaching staff while the team wins.
What recruit wants to come play for a staff the fan base feels is not good enough to coach up the players.
It's not the coaches fault when your two safeties are looking in the backfield allow the receiver to run past them. CJ Hampton will be good but he needs playing time.
It's not the coaches fault when you have a man double covered and the receiver pushes the defender to the ground and there's no call for pass interference.
We will have to beat the hell out of the remaining teams in order to win. We won't get a call in the last 3 games. We will have to be so much better than the other team in order to overcome the bias that will be working against Ole Miss.
So guit your complaining and go to the games and stand the entire game cheering your guts out for your Ole Miss.
Or you can sit on your arses and shut the hell up.
Are you doing your part to create a home field advantage for the Rebels? 80,000 Auburn fans were behind their team on Saturday. It makes a difference.
