AK has UAB at 7-1. Not a fierce schedule but still.

I miss Andy Kennedy.

It was time for him to go but we went out and got a safe hire. We are winning about the same as Kennedy but with less excitement around basketball. He pretty much has to go to get any excitement back.

That pretty much sums it up at the moment.

Kennedy was also coaching in a much much weaker SEC than Kermit is.

Kennedy did more with less in a weak top heavy league. Kermit is doing less with more in a deeper SEC. Different styles, same results.

AK’s style was more fun to watch though. It’s hard watching basketball when no one on your team can score or take over a game. If Kermit just recruited AK type players he could win. He stopped winning when all of AK’s guards went pro or graduated

I love how big and athletic his players are but at the end of the day they still have to score points because that’s how you win games. We went on a scoring drought against memphis that cost us the game before the first media timeout.

We gave this loser a contract extension just last November. What is the point? 2.5M for this crap. Just hire some up and comer for half that and get the same loser results.

Let's remember guys... a blowout win today doesn't mean we've improved

Yeah this Valpo team might not win my church league.

I knew we weren't great, but this is taking "not great" to a new level.

And one more thing, is there a snow storm or a tornado hovering over the Pavilion or something because the locals are not supporting the basketball team. Either of one of them. I understand the students are gone, but what I'm seeing is just plain sad. This is a good 7-2 UCF team with some quality wins. We just are not a basketball community apparently. Not right now anyway.

So how do we feel about our pitching this year?

I think part of it is just that people are bored with Kermit... not the most exciting personality and just missing the NCAA can kill fan interest

I live here. I have zero enthusiasm for Kermit coaching. And 3 points through 10 minutes of basketball solidified the fact that I’m happy with my choice tonight.

Damn, from 21-0 down to 36-26 down at halftime. I feel like we won that half. Ha

So in all seriousness, what would they have to do to get locals like yourself back? Is it just a matter of winning?

Came back down 3 touchdowns. Impressive resolve from the team

Just kidding I saw everyone making fun it on twitter and had to come and pile on slightly

Same . So glad I saved that $600 for season tickets . That can be spent elsewhere where I’ll actually enjoy it instead of a 2 hour root canal that home games turn into

It’s a matter of improving offensively. We’ve had the same issue for 3 years regardless of the talent we’ve had on the court. We can’t score or make big shots. We’ll see how this game ends up, but damn this brand of basketball is boring as all hell.
