Sorry I'm not a mongoloid that eats 72oz choice steak well done. Wait, no I'm not.

Non sequitur, but crab cakes are simple to make. Never tried to make them before tonight.

Raw is probably my least favorite but I still eat the shite out of those. A fried oyster poboy when done right is a thing of beauty. Louisiana is famous for it and I'd still say only a few places here really do it well.

Oysters are my favorite food, and I have yet to find a style that I don't like

RebGator you disappoint me except on the "rare".

Now Dry Aged Prime Bone-in-Fillet is second only to Dry Aged Prime Long Bone Ribeye.

Dry aged combined with marrow in the bone makes the steak all the better!

NIH - hit up Saltines and get one Nashville style if you like some heat/spice. Hand down the best Po boys in Mississippi!

The true question then is East Coast, Gulf or Pacific NW

- East & Gulf for charbroiled/fried and occasional raw
- Pacific NW to small & sweet for anything but raw IMO

Generally yes but in this case it actually flavors the meat as it cooks (spoken as a grandson of a butcher/meat cutter that ages his own primal cuts)

Just a thought but don't y'all think we need a pinned thread about food & booze. I know this is a football board but food & booze is an integral part of game days. Can give recommendations at different cities, tailgate grub and booze.

This isn't a football board. Pitch your idea to Dmagic and volunteer to keep the thread updated and relevant and he'll probably be okay with it.
