Yeah, as if anyone gives a flying frick on how good a baseball team is. Do you think Alabama fans give their own state a positive vibe? I think that most people of Alabama wish that the press never looked outside of the field itself due to some of the humiliation that some of their fans provide.

Unfortunately for yall, you can truly hear something strange going on with the cowbells, which leads others to think our state is full of uneducated hicks without even seeing your faces.

There are plenty of bama fans that sincerely wish bad things on all other programs sans football because "it takes away from what matters."

Eta. I'm still wondering why no one has farked a cowbell in that "shaking brush girl" gif

State's baseball team is playing their asses off right now... I'm proud of them for what they've accomplished... But I know your athletic department... If you guys won it all you'd make it miserable.... Billboards, tank tops, flying banners... It would be the #WeBelieve campaign x1000000 for an entire year.. . Stricklin would probably do your ring presentation ceremony at halftime of the Egg Bowl... No... Just no... Go Beavers.

ETA: I Agree ... hell I would go so far as to say I'd be happy for them if they made it to the Final ... they just couldn't win though.

ETA2: Yes I am being petty but IDJGAY

I think it's going to frick us for a couple of years in in-state recruiting, that's what. Even if it doesn't, I'd still say there's a sizable enough chance that I'm not willing to risk.

The little guy doesn't recruit in the state of Mississippi, so I doubt this will be affected.

I would think that your next recruiting class will be affected just because recruits won't know if Bianco will be here or not. After that you guys will be fine.

Not really... Baseball recruiting just isnt like other sports... Most kids know where they are gonna attend college (if they decide to) by the fall of their junior year.

I 100% agree with this. Also, I think neither OM nor State put much emphasis on in-state recruiting. It seems like Bianco has always done well in Tennessee and Louisiana.

I tailgated in Omaha with the couple that discovered the Mississippi State Rebels shirt. They actually bought one. Then they sent a pic to their friend or boss or something and that's when it blew up on twitter. I went to the vendor and they had already taken them out of the city and said I had to call the t shirt company.
