String will be this year's Anthony Alford. Insane preseason hype but we'll see if he can beat out established WRs with experience in system.

If he does...

Yeah the way Neil was talking about him no way he's a bust. I haven't seen a WR as ripped in college as him since Julio Jones. The guy has some guns.

He's going to play a lot even if it's just for his blocking ability alone.

Stringfellow will be a beast. Am I the only person really high on Kincade? Good release, throws a laser, and is mobile and will work his arse off. A spring running with the 1's will help him a ton.

I like Buchanan too but his passes seem to be in the air forever.

Nope, I am too. And really, judging anyone off the Arkansas game was really terrible in retrospect. Not a fricking soul on that sideline was actually prepared to play.

I think Kincade has the higher upside of our two. Mobile with a good arm and another year in the system to learn his reads. The Grove Bowl will be very interesting to watch this year.

His perception has definitely declined over the last year or so, but I still see some potential.

There are now some questions floating about Buchanan's arm strength. I also do question RB's running ability, where a QB running threat clearly helps the offense operate at an optimal level.

Spring should be telling, as will be the pursuit of Chad Kelly if it happens.

I just assume Kincade will transfer after Spring or Fall camp. There are hints of us having a package for him if he doesn't win the job outright, but I don't think it would be enough to keep him around.

I'm guessing we'd use him like we did Randall Mackey.

My two most important things we have to address on offense....
1. QB and not confident in what we got (I favor Kincade over Buchanan. Buchanan is slow and weaked armed....and years away if ever.)
2. RB has been below average for years

I'm not sure we have an every-down back on the roster even adding Judd and Swinney to the mix next year.

That being said, more physical OL play next year will make the RBs look better.

I agree with you. My problem is there should be PLENTY of RBs that can carry the rock 20 times with vision. While the OL has some responsibility here, we have lacked a RB that runs with vision who can break a tackle or simply fall forward. I sure hope Judd or swinney fill that roll

String would have started this year if he had got his waiver. He was an under armour All-American with a big body that will push DBs around and get a lot of catches. The coaches are very high on him.

Richmond and Patterson will get a lot of playing time next year. We will run the ball better.

Does anyone think we give Braxton a call?

Also one of the student trainers told me (so take it with a grain of salt) that he didn't think Buchanan had the brains to run the offense and that switchade wasn't making the plays in practice everyone thought he would.... Again I don't know and I thought Ryan looked good making his progression in the vandy game (yes I know it's vandy but still)

That student trainer has no idea what he is talking about. Freeze has said several times RB makes reads that the coaches weren't even aware he knew. For instance during the Presb game we were in running plays and based off the defense RB kept checking into the correct passing plays. The coaches had to tell him, you're making the right read but we are up a lot and just wanna run the play. RB problem is he is limited physically. Doesn't have a great arm.

DK is lacking the knowledge between the ears. He is a smart kid but he isn't able to make those quick decisions. He has to improve on the mental aspect of the game.
