So we know Little, Benito and Anderson will be big time right away. Who will be the biggest impact this year besides them?

I'm going with Hartsfeild and Wiley behind him.

Do you know what position he'll be playing? I just can't put my finger on it.

Womack said he might see some time at Husky to get him some reps there because it's the toughest one to get. My guess is him seeing time at Rover in the fall but being a ex corner with his size and strength he could play any were.

In that interview he said Gates will be tried at MLB, Willie will work MLB and Curits.

Yeah what he said. Freeze said he might be the sleeper of the class.

Will Caldwell move to OLB if Gates moves inside? If not our starting OLB looks like Taylor Polk

Wommack said that Caldwell missed out on a lot of snaps because of Denziel and Gates. I thought Caldwell was a MLB but Wommack talked like he was a OLB. Then you got RayRay and sounds like a Moore or Linton will move to OLB.

Here it is. LINK the interview starts about 32 mins in.

I'm surprised Linton wasn't a Stinger from the get go

If Curtis, Willie and Linton all can play LB I would defiantly feel better about our depth at the position.

Jacob Mathis is also a name that's been mentioned as a long LB look. It was one of the reasons we wanted him so bad at the end

I think mods have said he is a true TE and that we may not sign a TE in the 2017 class....so I think he sticks there

No one knows until they get on the field. He wouldn't have gotten an offer if he wasn't athletic enough to play defense though. Similar to Kendrick Doss

Yeah but we are still thin at TE. I can't see them moving both Hibbler and Mathis. That would leave Engram, Cooley, and Angel plus walk-ons.

Yeah I have heard really good things about a walk on TE from the Nashville area he played QB in HS.
