How many wins would satisfy you this season?

Since we are going into the death trap 3-0 instead of 1-2 which was possible, how many wins do you expect to see now?

I would be content with 8 but probably get a stiffy with 9. Either of those are a bit lofty, based on the winnable games we play on the road which won't be easy. (Msu, AU). But I don't think it's out of the question with the friendly home game stretch on the back end of the schedule.

Like I said, my expectations have been elevated. I just hope these next 4 don't humble them too bad.

9-3 with a potential bowl win would be orgasmic.

That's all I have to say about that.

Seven.

We won six in the regular season last year, so anything that improves on that is good by me.

I can agree with that as well.

Side point- Texas is not the Texas of old, but beating them in Austin was just gravy to whatever win total we do end up with.

8, but I'd really like 9.

I was pessimistic to pick seven games before the season so, so far I am very pleased

Seven.
At this point 7 would be a big disappointment IMO. That would mean finishing the season 4-5 when right now we'll be favored in every game except 2 (assuming the TAMU line stands).

7. All day..

I was at 6 and all I wanted is a bowl game THIS year. Next year expectations will be quite different.

But since we started better than I anticipated, I'll bump It up a game.

As long as we beat Arkansas, Auburn and MSU it'll be a stellar season.. I'm expecting 9-3 right now... Unbelievable considering we play a pretty tough schedule.

I was always thinking 7-5, but now I'm upping it one to 8-4.

Satisfy isn't the right word for me. I'd be satisfied with anything more than 6. I think we finish with 10. 2-2 in this next four. The following five games we should be favored in each one and we don't leave the state of MS.

Bigger question is if we win or are really close in a loss to Bama, then beat Auburn, does Gameday come to Oxford?

I would be SATISFIED with 8, but with the 3-0 start I am expecting 9. 9 only satisfies me if our 3 Ls are to Bama, aTm, and LSU. I know @Auburn isn't a a for sure win, like every game we play (Thanks a lot Nutt ala Jacksonville State) but at this point I feel like we are the better team and I don't think Im in the wrong in thinking we SHOULD beat the teams I THINK we are better than. With all of that said I have no problem thinking 10 wins are possible (Did I really just type that?!?) I know our players want payback for the close losses to LSU and aTm, just like they wanted to payback Texas. I don't think it is that outlandish to think 10 wins is possible but this stretch of games is going to be very tough on our team. If we can limit the injuries beat the teams we are supposed to and pull an upset this could be the best year we have had in 50 years.

I remember standing out side the Superdome the next week and a guy asked me if I was THAT guy. Oh well just like with most things in life you can either laugh about it or cry about it

Before the season I predicted 8 or 9 wins. The difference between the two was either a loss/win to Texas.

Now don't get me wrong if we win 8 reg season and win a bowl game to get to 9 wins I won't complain one bit. But I won't be fully "Satisfied" cause that would mean dropping Bama Lsu A&M and 1 other. That would sadden me a little. I really want a big win this year. Like against one of those big 3 we have coming up.

Here's the thing.

I told myself before the season started that I would be ok with 6-6 or 7-5.

That was with losses to Texas and Vandy, though

I do not...not not not...not want to lose to Auburn, Arky, Mizzou or MSU. frick that.

9-3 or bust.
