1st home game of the season.
6.30 pm kickoff
i'll say 52,000
The memphis game turned a lot of people off and I think had made people second guess making the trip up next weekend

The Student section still has around 3500 unsold tickets add-on that they'll be less than all the student showing up that bought tickets
Season ticket sales are under 40,000 and not all of them will show up
Arkansas failed to sell out their allotment
No way it'll be 52k people (though that's around what they'll announce), actual attendance will be probably around 25-30k

Jesus if Arky is as low as you’re thinking..
What will Sela look like?

I'm thinking around 40k realistically speaking (about 2/3 full)

Barely 30k will make for Ark game is my guess

People want to watch football. Not sit outside because we suck. That’s protesting. We really don’t know how bad we suck anyway. I’ll agree with the OP, 50k.

Less and less people are going to games when their teams are good. I'm expecting an announced attendance of 55k and actual butts in seats around 42-45k.

Gonna be a hard number to pin down. I am guess they will for sure go with the number of tickets distributed and not actual attendance when releasing any numbers. I am a season ticket holder but won't be making the game this week so you can already delete 4 from the final number lol

You're correct and pretty much what everybody, everywhere does. And I'll guess in the 50 range this weekend. These 25k predictions are way off IMO. All subject to change depending on what transpires. It will be a night game, but still hot. Just not Noon hot.

It's called math. We have roughly 30,000 "season tickets" sold which includes student tickets and flex packages which may or may not include tickets to this particular game. You have to figure that some people won't make it, let's put that number at 8,000. 30 - 8 = 22. That puts us at 22,000 attendees. Add in about 3,000 Arkansas fans, even though they did not sell their allotment and that puts the total number of attendees at 25,000. I may be off by a little but how am I way off? Do you really think we are going to have 20,000 walk up fans to get us in the neighborhood of 50,000?

We can just take this up again around Sunday. If you're right you're right, if you're wrong you're wrong. I'll stick with what I said for now. I know you HOPE you are correct which I still cannot wrap my mind around. If we lose, we won't have to HOPE for poor crowds. If we can look better and win, who knows. We could find ourselves at 3-1, but I know that's not what some want either.

Thank you for still being a rational person.

Have we sold 55k tickets to this game? I've not seen where that is the case. Where are you getting your information from?
Remember, this is not a season where we have a sellout of season tickets and some folks don't show up. We've sold 30,000 season ticket type packages and some folks will not show up. How are you accounting for the additional 20,000 unsold seats?

First home game, SEC opponent, and a night time kickoff.. I would say it will be 3/4 full at kickoff. Now I’m not saying that will last the whole game ha.

I'd guess around 35k actually attendance (+/-5k). No way will there be 50k actually in the stadium.
Football attendance has been on a steady decline for years (10 year low last year). Add in an apathetic fanbase to this scenario, and seeing how abysmal our offense was against Memphis, and most folks would rather stay home and save their money.

First home game, SEC game, and a night game will all factor into the numbers. Plus it should be a game we can win. Would be shocked if its not close to 50k.
