Coach Mac clearly is a good coach. He game plans well. His unit was on the field the whole game and still came up big on many occasions. I’m sick of having a head coach who is just wasting space on the sideline adding nothing and an OC who thinks his 2005 offense will work in today’s game.

It’s so hard to judge defense on yards these days especially when the offense was a 3 and out machine for 3 quarters. We had some pretty good “bend don’t break” defenses under Freeze the first few years that I would take any day of the week with a solid offense.

People can argue about firing Luke vs. keeping him. They can argue about the offensive system and who should be playing QB. They can argue about the FNCAA bull, the youth of the team, whether or not this is Luke's true 1st year.
The facts that are indisputable are:
1. The team is now 3-6.
2. Ole Miss is 0-4 in 1 possession games so far this year.
3. The only way Ole Miss qualifies for a bowl game this year is with a massive upset of LSU.
4. Matt Luke's record as Head Coach is now 14-19.

I have buddies who know nothing about football and casually watch Ole Miss saying "Well he has the team playing hard. He was given a bad situation and needs time to get his guys in. The guys played really hard and almost pulled it out".
It makes me irrationally angry that they can't be reasoned with.

Oh, we have leadership. Now you might not care for how it got there, but it's there. There will also be a new AD in a few weeks. Things are changing.
