Not a lot of Mississippi high school grads can handle the academic load at Ole Miss. We have to have 40% plus from out of state and this has held true for many years.

Kids are coming here because of they think/hear that Ole Miss is something that it hasn't been but is now becoming as a result.

Every year, more and more Freshmen come here thinking Ole Miss is just a huge party and they think it's cool to walk around with overly fratastic clothes on and act like douchebags

IDK what you're talking about. It's been like this since at least the 80s. You seriously think that OM hasn't had the party school rep for a long arse time?

I may be wrong but I'd at least like to raise the out of state standards so we can limit the number of shiteheads that come hear as a backup plan

This has already happened in the last year, and I think our high retention rate shows the results.
