I know this thread got whacked after the Florida game, but this is a serious question and I would actually like to hear other poster's opinions.

Who do y'all think are realistic options for an Offensive Coordinator hire?

Who would y'all (realistically) want as an O-Line coach?

For Oline for example, I would say these are some options:

Darren Hiller Hugh Freeze's Oline coach at Arky state that seems to be competent. Current O-line coach at cinci

Alex Atkins O-line coach at Georgia Southern, apparently has a good track record

What say y'all? I don't follow college football much outside of Ole Miss, so I'm not sure what realistic options are out there.

They can't be much worse than Matt Luke; I'd take em

I want Hiller. He has had lots of success getting OL's proficient in a spread scheme (ie. Arky State & now Cinncy). Georgia Southern is an option run based offense so not sure if he'd transition well to a spread.

For 50k a year I'll coach em. Give me 3 years and I'll be more than qualified. Right now my instructions would be screaming "HIT THAT MOTHER FUC.." Which is probably what they need. I want them to be mean and out to cause pain. Nothing about Ben still is intimidating. He looks like an inbred Danny devito

Also identify what is going on with the D....I think we need Allen to bring Allen back if we are ever going to field a decent Defense again.

Based on common opponent, Allen >>>>> Wommack. However, if we dump Wommack, we could do better. I would be happy w/ Luke getting canned.

Coaching Search article on Toledo's O-Line Coach who, despite having 5 new O-linemen as starters, has yet to give up a sack

Honestly I don't know what to say right now other than I want to cut my wrists and drown myself in my own blood.

I read this incorrectly at first.

So question for you guys. I see a lot of complaints about the OC and OL coach. Is S&C a concern with all of the injuries? I feel like it's something that has to be considered, you guys lose an unreasonable number of good players to injury.

I mean people were blowing Paul Jackson the first couple of seasons. I'm a nerd so maybe you can educate me on how S&C can lead to injuries.

Honestly haven't given it much thought. It was brought up some last season, but it seems like most of the injuries have little to do with strength and conditioning.

So at the beginning of the year we say "our team is so winded, they need better conditioning" now we way "omg look at the injuries we probably shouldn't be too hard on these guys"
