Well Cal struggled against FCS Weber State today but won 33-20c

Good News: Cal gave up +400 yards passing to then

Bad News: By box scores it seems as if Cal is pretty good at running the ball.

I'm still needing to hear the names Jones, Speaks, Haynes and Gates a lot more. Maybe I'm wrong. Also, Bing-Dukes needs to be in the fray far more as well. Come on guys.

Our defense is bad which I expected, but holy hell. I'm predicting a lot of points next Saturday. The game may take 5 hours.

^^^ Which if true, means 2:30 a.m. finish our time. Let's just be realistic, if could certainly push 1:30 CST.

If an FCS team put up 400+ yards passing on them our offense has no excuse quite honestly and I bet we will be salivating watching the film.

We need to stack the box and force them to throw. There's no way cal beats our offense in a shootout. So what if we give up some chunks of yardage I would be willing to bet we will be able to match whatever output they have. We need to figure out run defense this week or else.

Our offense is extremely overrated. No run game at all. TE presence is obsolete. You rarely see great routes and throw in stride. Our offense has been Shea run around and make something happen on a broken play. That ish isn't going to work on better squads.

That's a bit much. We don't run traditional routes and the amount of runs is based on Shea's decision making. Its tough to run block on those rpo's too. I am pleased with the pass blocking. A definite improvement over last year.

Haha.

Gosh some of ya’ll are such jolly frickers.

Shea has been throwing some wicked passes and to deny that is just stupid.

We are gonna our up all kinds of points/yards against Cal this weekend.

Whatever the Over is needs to be bet on haha.

Who said Shea hasn't been making passes? The offense has revolved around broken plays. That ain't offense.

I have complete faith in our team. They have been studying this team all summer. I think this is the first real game we have, and I think our players will show up big time vs Cal compared to the last two weeks.

It's true, we have had some broken plays go for big yards. However, we've also had several plays executed in perfect timing for 8-9-10 yards and then the receiver break it for lots more. That's all good the last time I checked.
