Behind the backdrop of all the big time recruits we have signed today are the two QB's we brought in this class in Buchanan (sp?) and Kincade. I know nothing about them and was seeing if any one had more informed insight than me. Who is better short term, long term, more potential, etc? Can any of these guys challenge Bo right off the bat?

Kincade is a beast and a football genius apparently, if we had to use one of them this year I would think it'd be Kincade but that would only be if Bo's shoulder wasn't healed in time

Strictly my opinion, Bo is playing next year. We need to RS both Buch and Kincaid. Kincaid has to get bigger, hes alright size wise but he plays SEC football now. Buchanan has to adjust to the speed of the game. He played at prep and threw the ball like 8 times a game. Hes not ready to step in and sling it yet. So Bo is gonna play next year. May be competing for his spot the next year though.

I think Kincaid will end up being the starter eventually though. He already runs the system and is apparently very smart. I just think hes the better athlete and you have to be an athlete, as well as throw, to be a QB in our offense. I think Buchanan is really good but im just not sure he's gonna be able to make the 'plays' Kincaid will.

Freeze isnt afraid to play 2 qbs though, so both will play when their time is called

We have the luxury of red shirting them both. And I damn well think we should.

I saw we RS both. But I don't see a scenario where either is fighting to take Bo's job.

Bo with one more season in this system should cut down in the stupid mistakes. Bo is gone then we will have 2 RS Sophomores that will be ready to rock and roll

hopefully Miller has gotten the system down because he'll probably be seeing more playing time this year

I don't know if y'all noticed this, but neither guy wavered or tried to garner any attention. They committed and stayed solid.

They let the other guys soak in it. Buchanan and Kincade were quiet throughout, and I think that shows good leadership skills. But that's just me.

I say we RS both move Brunetti to slot and give him a wildcat package. Let MM be the backup if he is ready.

I agree with this. Brunetti has already said he is open to playing another position outside of QB. I think he gets the Mackey treatment this upcoming season and I'm excited about that. Bo, Maikhal are QB's RS Buch and Kincade. Man next year could be great. But we will probably wait and see what Bo's shoulder is like... Xing my fingers he is healthy and ready to roll come August 31st.
