We've fallen from a 7 seed lock to the 11 seed play in game in 2 weeks. We need to win 1, probably 2 now in the SEC Tournament. And even then we probably need a couple other bubble teams to lose. AK can never make it easy can he

I turned the game off at the half because vandy couldn't miss from the 3 point line... We are screwed in sec tourney and the NCAA tourney (if we make it). Regardless if seeding, I don't see us winning a game in either one.
ETA: I waited until the next day to post and see if my opinion would change and it didn't. This team obviously just doesn't have what we had earlier this year. Other teams have figured us out.

What are you talking about? I swear some of you guys just have no clue.
Vandy had won 8 of its last 10 games. They were just hot. On top of that Kennedy threw the house at them defensively and nothing worked. That is basketball ladies and gentleman. Sometimes the other team is just hot and there is no defense for it.
Who the heck do we hire if we fire Kennedy? Even if it is a proven guy is he proven at a basketball school like Ole Miss with absolutely NO BASKETBALL history? Michael White? Why does everyone keep bringing that name up? Because he played at Ole Miss. While you're at it hire Keith Carter and Ansu Sesay as well. White has done ok on the level he is on but having some delusion of gander that you are going to get anything different then what you are currently getting from Kennedy at this point is being extremely optomistic.
Its like Mizz fans asking for the baseball coach to be fired every single year. Or like Kentucky wanting the football coach fired every single year. Kennedy has been more consistent then the coaches at either of those programs yet every time he losses the fire Kennedy talks come out.
This is the best coaching job the guy has done since he has been here. This isn't a tournament team. PERIOD. Summers hasn't nearly played to the level most thought he would. That has absolutely nothing to do with Kennedy but everything to do with Summers and whatever it is that is wrong with him. Kennedy has given him all the opportunities and still goes to the guy when we need a big shot, even though at times Moody is the choice most others would take. Unlike past years, this team not only has no NBA presence one could argue there aren't many guys on this team that will play professional at all.
My thought is to give Kennedy two or three years in the new arena. Lets see if the recruiting gets better when there is actually something to recruit to. Lets see if the fans actually show up and fill up the stadium other then just big games. The guy deserves it. He has the worst basketball program in the SEC relevant. Yet "we" want him fired.

This. Sometimes the other team just can't miss. They were hitting everything from outside which left the interior wide open.
And our offense struggled but was good enough to win last night. We had like 5 people in double digits and Rhett really stepped up in his last home game.

Vandy shoots lights out every time we play them it seems. This loss isn't good but it's not a killer either. It's certainly not state/USC in 2013 level.

As far as Kennedy is concerned, he is what he is. Do I think he's a great coach? No, but he is competent and makes chicken salad out of chicken shite considering the facilities and support he receives. He deserves a minimum of two years in the Pavilion. If the results aren't there, I think reassessing his job status would be fair
