No, he's never been high on us. We'd take him but he's not a big priority for the staff. He'll probably flip to State.

I just don't see us landing Simmons... I hope I'm wrong trust me, but I just haven't ever been too confident about him
Mique on the other hand, I have way too much confidence about him right now (probably more than I should), but he seemed enamored with Ole Miss and gameday here. Calculate the potential of playing WITH elite talent and being AGAINST elite talent, while sitting in a good position to start... yeah, I have a good feeling
Like another poster and I were discussing, if we can get his mom here and sell her on it (the distance would be the only thing to overcome as far as his mama is concerned..... and not pulling a Rashan Gary) we get an elite LB
Hes the perfect compliment to Donta Evans... hes long, rangy, and fast... he is basically a thicker Bituli

is it weird that i'm still semi concerned about benito jones....like he flips last minute then we get in trouble for too much contact like the OL player from senatobia who got lsu in trouble last year and this was the longest con ever by dan, leo, and benito

Been told we want him on the OL and he didn't take kindly to it. Kid looks great off the bus but often times gets lost in the wash of a game. As big as he is he should dominate HS games but pad level and not getting giving 100% he underwhelms frequently. Our HS 2* center whipped him pretty good earlier this year...then again I think our center is undervalued.
