From the Bama board:

Quotes from AJ Brown Article

quote:

With no official leaders, what schools would you say are recruiting you the hardest?

“Mississippi State,” Brown said. “Alabama, Cal; Cal’s coming at me real hard.”

When are you going to figure out who gets officials? And how are you going to decide who gets them?

“To be honest, I haven’t really been focused on that,” Brown said. “I’m trying to win a state championship. It’s going to be like real soon, though. Probably in a week or so I’m going to figure that out with my family.

“I know Mississippi State and Ole Miss probably aren’t going to get one because I go there all the time. I can go there whenever.”

How often do you talk to Alabama? And how many times have you been over to Tuscaloosa?

“I talk to Nick Saban a few times out of the week,” Brown said. “I talk to Coach Napier almost every other day. I’ve been over there two or three times.”

Out of Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, who’s got the coolest game day atmosphere?

“I’m going to have to go with Alabama,” Brown said.

What stands out about the Crimson Tide?

“That’s a winning program,” Brown said.

When do you plan on announcing?

“Signing Day,” Brown said.

Yeah that full interview is on rebel sports radio.

Can't tell if he wants the spoils in recruiting and that's why he's upset that he's not being recruited out of Starkville. Or if he actually wants to leave.

The best part of that interview, however, was when he was asked how hard it would be on him being from Starkville if he committed to ole miss.

He said, " oh man, real hard. I doubt I could come back home."

I think it sounds like he wants the spoils in recruiting.

Was Dmagic being serious? Can we get Shyheim Carter? His 40 time is out of control so badly want... What position would he play safety?

I've thought shyheim and deontay are the last two secondary recruits we take for awhile.

Shyheim pissed off LSU by rooting against them on his official visit. His 2017 friend is committed to Georgia. But with the new staff in place things get shaken up.

We will play in sugar bowl in his home state. And we can still offer/ recruit his 2017 friend.

Shyheim is so versatile he would be a great weapon anywhere in the secondary. Especially with knowing the qb position that he plays in kentwood.

But i would say it's a two horse race now.
Georgia or Ole miss

What's the feeling for Devin White? David cb'ed him to OM recently, but he seems to jump the gun a lot, most recently w/ Kongbo.

Shyheim, Deontay, Eisworth, and Jaylon would be one hell of a DB load

With Justin Connor being another secondary option

And Michigan D coordinator moved to head coach at Maryland*.

Were* we a rent-a-cop away from Rashan Gary?

Nah, he's not coming down south. It's not his speed and Mama didn't like the confederate flags and stuff. Having a dipshit Cobra a-hole treating her the way he did was not a big help, either.

Well that's good, because we actually have a shot at Simmons. No matter what you hear from State folks on here, it's a four-team race with the in-state schools, LSU and Alabama. LSU is running in fourth and probably aren't a huge threat here, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at any of the other three.
