Yea, you are both right, in retrospect, all were pretty fair...
minus maybe this
You talking about Cameron makes me wonder what he could do with a talent like Pellerin.
minus maybe this

was a tremendous game.. again, i know that team is the truth.. but so is his team.. and he only lead IMG to one rushing td.. which came in the 2nd half.. this is the #1 qb in the nation? he should be producing regardless.

By all accounts Pellerin is a fantastic athlete that's extremely raw. I would think he'll be a redshirt sophomore before he fights for the starting job. Most recruiting analysts have praised how far Franks has come in only a year, and he'll have time with Harris and presumably Jennings still at LSU.
Assuming Pellerin played in a spread offense in high school, his need to be polished on top of adjusting to a pro style offense makes me okay with LSU not offering.
He would be much better suited at Ole Miss or State who run spread offenses that make for an easier transition for Pellerin.
It's always interesting what the coaches see that we don't. I went to Haughton's playoff game when Dak went against Terrance Magee and Robinson. I walked away thinking Robinson and Dak were much better prospects, even though they all turned out being quality guys. That's why I don't make 1.3 mill and sit behind a keyboard

Of course. Although, sometimes, rarely, fans get it right when the coaches don't.

As an LSU fan, Saban starting Josh Booty over Rohan Davey immediately comes to mind

I'm not sure you won't see Pellerin play situationally this year.

He'd be a great candidate to replace liggins in short yard situations
Posted on 8/24/15 at 4:42 pm to tigerbait2010
Agreed.
Liggins is annoying, as he never makes the short-yardage runs look flashy nor does he ever pick up four or five yards when we need one or two, but he is extremely effective.
He had fifteen carries on either third down with one to three yards to go or fourth down and eleven of those carries went for first downs. Additionally, he had 4 carries in the redzone, two of which went for touchdowns.
I'd like to see a little more passing out of him this fall.

Pellerin played in a wing t offense. They were spread about 4 years ago

Drake Davis tweeted a pic of either him or teammate Tony Jones Jr In an ole miss hat with a #HottyToddy

New #33 recruit on rivals.
Skyrocketed his composite.
247 needs to reevaluate him soon
Eta checked out the pic on au79 Twitter. That's not drake Davis, it is Tony jones Jr. 247 The Rb for IMg Who is committed to Notre Dame.
So that's interesting on two levels. Maybe he will come for an unofficial with drake and Shea and others.

Diamond. What will he play again?

How many EEs is that now?

Safety I believe. He's a 2-way player for his high school, he's the QB. Always like former qbs as secondary players, they have a better understanding of where to be in passing lanes.
He's gonna be a good one.

Ok so hang in here with me. Just talked football for about 30 minutes with the most knowledgable guy I've ever spoken to. Said he is actually a huge OM fan (favorite team out of SEC) he follows all our recruiting and just blew me away with his knowledge. But anyway He played at FSU back a little while ago. He is extremely connected to St Thomas Aquinas (you know bad arse Highschool out of Florida) and said that they have a linebacker. Didn't say inside our outside or what year. But said they have a linebacker that isn't even publicly in talks with OM but that he has set and is 100% for sure gonna be a Rebel. He wouldn't tell me a name or year or any details. But very intriguing to hear. So yeah CSB I know.

interesting. I don't see any top recruits at LB to even venture a guess when looking at their roster.
None of their LB are in the top 300 in Florida for 2016.
They aren't as stacked as years past aside from Bosa.
Maybe the position, school, or could be in 2017 or -18
What is CSB?

They have one committed to Miami in the 2017 class. Who looks really solid.
