frick yeah! I think Herb can be that big man in the middle like Gilbert Pena.

This combined with somebody saying the other day that Aaron Morris and Justin Bell both look more trim is amazing news!

I remember seeing Sowell about two months after his senior season ended and wondered how he ever made the team. His damn gut was hanging down to about mid thigh and his moobs were saggin to like his belly button.

As much as I couldn't stand him I do respect him for putting the work in to get in shape to be able to not only make an NFL team but start on one because it was a HUGE transformation.

I think you can chalk up our poor O-Line play to Markuson. He went to Wisconsin and absolutely shite the bed. Was fired after 3 games because running game and O-line looked terrible.

You respect him for being a fat slob right after playing for us (and playing like a fat slob all season although i don't remember him being fat) but putting forth effort when he went to the pro's? I'll never forget that USC game.

Anyone else thinking our recruiting is starting a little slow this year? I know its early but our class looks like what Mullen usually has at this time.

It's a small class (17-20 scholly's) so they have to be more selective with their offers. That, plus the fact that many of the guys they are going after have stated they would be making late decisions. It'll end up alright. We should be at least Top 20-25...but the small class may make it tougher to crack the Top 15 again. Never say never though!

Dk Buford says he's lost 20 lbs since the end of football season. He's under 200 now.

Akeem Judd also lost 10 lbs and is now at 222

That fine for Judd because he'll still come in as our biggest back.

I don't know how I feel about Buford getting smaller. Hopefully he can RS and stack some good weight back on.

He says the coaches want to start him out at Husky and try him a bit at rb/slot. But the coaches think he'll be a husky.
