The NCAA doesn't let you do that. As I understand it, if he plays a snap of football, his "track scholarship" also counts as a FB scholarship.

if Doss does not make a serious push this spring for QB, then his choice should be LB or Transfer. I don't discount he may make a serious push for starting QB....some may be shocked by that statement.

Buchanan's grandfather was worth about $100 million. Why couldn't he walk on? OM in state tuition is entirely insignificant for their balance sheet. Is there some sort of NCAA rule against doing this?

Sure, he could still play if they yanked his scholarship. That would sure piss me off if it happened to me, though, no matter how much money my grandfather had.

It is why I said what I said and you are 100% correct. Very little folks know this though. We will see. Again... My feelings for swag are very cautious, but I have been told by a grad assist on the team that Swag football IQ is off the chart good. Optimism is high for him..... IF IF IF IF IF........

I don't know what he's hearing, but I know he looked damn good last spring to me.
