If he's a cancer that's a fixable problem.. Our staff can just send him packing.. Our APR is really strong under this staff.. We can take the hit.

ETA: not implying that he's ours... According to Rivals, Ohio State is the team to beat.

I'll try and find it later but a 247 reporter for UMiami posted something about his Tennessee visit that was bad.

Keep in mind this next bit was from a paid 247 beat writer/recruiting analyst not just a 'rumor' from an average message board poster.
Quick rundown: Booster of UTk took TG to Knoxville and put him up in a room. TG was ordering gourmet food and call girls. UTk didn't want any of it and wanted him to go home. Booster didn't want to bring him home so he was stuck there on an "extended visit"

Supposedly that fits with the kid's personality. I know Auburn, Ohio State and UTk have all moved in different directions (at least OSU/AU) due to personality red flags. Talent wise he is a stud though

No cocaine? No problem

But in reality I understand why that is a problem.

Interesting. Thanks for that. I havent heard anything about him other than him saying he wanted to take a visit back in the summer and what Drew just said. Im sure there are plenty of kids we are recruiting that we dont know about and he may be one, but there really is only 1-3 spots for those kids that are off the radar a bit. Our class is pretty predictable at this point. At least our next 6 commits are (ordway, givens, rankin, patterson, bridges, tucker). Leo, Fletch, and Gabe left in state are up for grabs. Then like I said, only 1-3 spots for unknown guys like TG.

As much as people hate to hear it, they need to stay that way... Their names need to stay off message boards and out of the mouths of OM fans in general .. It's kinda crazy recruiting has morphed into this but with the influence SEC boosters have these days it's just how it has to be... At least for a school like OM, anyway.

Yeah, Freeze and co have done a much better job keeping stuff under wraps. Yancy is worthless now, and I like it that way.

Yea, what gets me is why even mention 1-3 guys at all if you are the coaches? In the Internet age, the next logical step is people are going to pry until they find out. 1-3 unknown guys shouldn't even get out, but I guess you have to sell subscriptions and keep the fan bases happy.

That can't be good. I don't think we have any type of shot at him regardless.

Why? Are you talking about people committed elsewhere right now or just not highly recruited?

We cant get involved in bidding wars for a kid with Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGA or Florida boosters early on in the process... We will get big boyed just about every time... It is what it is.

Then people would make stuff up if there was no information. Seldom does a leak cause a kid to go elsewhere

He actually sounds like a pretty smart kid. He's getting surf and turf and poon on UTK's dime.

Seems like he is just going too far. Supposedly he has some type of handler figure. It is a sketchy recruitment for sure.

That being said, his overal talent level is so high that if Freezus can give him the Jesus he will perform at a level like Breezus.

Also, what is OM's view on Tony Bridges? Our reporters and coaches keep saying he is solid, he is solid. We have one of his current teammates and a number of former ones. We have immediate need and position for him. It just appears that he would hav already flipped/decommitted. Seems like we have a lot going for us for you to have 100% Black Bear Guaranteed Flipzilla

*If there are potential external forces/bagmen (:lol) / Mississippi pressure you can be as vague as you want. Just trying to figure out what his rationale is
