I'd declare National Get It Out Of You System..And GET OVER IT! Day
At noon on that day, everyone steps outside and yells:
"Neeger, asian, Kike, Spic, Honkie, etc...."
Then, we all look around, see that no one actually got "injured" by these stupid syllables...and we can move on with those words holding less sting

I have, I've lost everything I owned before. But I didn't get govt assistance.
If people want welfare they should show up at a designated place every day to perform tasks that the govt would normally pay to have done.

Create a national standard for drivers license tests. Way too many people have no business operating a vehicle.

No, you stop issuing contracts for grass cutting, picking up trash on the side of the roads. Pay them min wage until they can find gainful employment.

How do you see it as "welfare"? the govt(the people) are getting something in return. Instead of people sitting on their butts waiting on the mail to run.

Voting rights for American citizens who are from US territories. If they can fight for the US military, they should be able to vote for the President and have voting representation in congress.
Would also reaffirm the founding fathers position that the US is not biased to a single religion. Separation of Church and State if you will.

Like the idea, but that costs money. Money comes from taxes, which I doubt people would be in favor of.

We are going far afield. But....:
Say there are 10 people with jobs cutting grass, etc that (as you stated) the Gov is PAYING for now.
Your plan is to take 10 people on welfare and pay THEM to cut the grass, etc.
I asked "what about the original 10 that were employed cutting grass?"
You replied, "pay them min wage until they find gainful employment"
Soooo....we had Original 10 working and 10 Welfare. We swapped their designation. But, STILL have 10 working (original Welfare) and 10 "welfare" (original workers)

It would be a net gain to the govt. They are already paying those contracts + welfare. Now the contracts are not paid and the work is still done by those wanting welfare. Plus you would see the number of welfare recipients drop dramatically when they realize they have to push a lawn mower 8 hours a day.
