There are many I like, a couple I love, but if push came to shove and I could only have one for the rest of my life it would be wild turkey 101. Not because its my favorite, but it holds sentimental value and I wouldn't want to never be able to taste it again

My normal is Woodford, but Pappy is my favorite.

never had Blanton's but love Woodford.

Maker's 46 is smooth

had a lot more but none worth writing home to mom about that I can think of at the moment. I like Buffalo Trace too.

You have a link to that thread? I might need to read up. I don't hang around here like I used to so things tend to slip by me.

I'll look for it.

Matter of fact someone, I thought for some reason it was Hardy or TBird but I cannot remember why, ... was going for a tour of a couple of the distilleries when we started talking about it if I remember correctly - at least I think it was that thread. But I may have my bourbon threads confused with my scotch threads.

They were swinging up from Knoxville and headed to Lexington for a day and then over to Louisville or something and I mentioned the tour we took when we were up there for the football game this past season.

I dunno - my mind slips some times these days.

ETA: I just remembered something else. Seems I mentioned, or either I dreamed this, that I noticed Blanton's stepping-up with the subliminals recently because I had noticed John Wick was drinking Blanton's in that movie while the hotel doctor was stitching-him-up and then in Justified's final episode Raylan and his boss each had a shot (a waste imho) of Blanton's before Raylan said goodbye and moved to Miami.

Jim Beam is my normal go to. I like the taste and it's not expensive.

Woodford is my favorite special occasion whiskey. Four roses is good too...haven't had much else in high end whiskey cause it's hard to find in the delta

Blanton's if I have bourbon-drinking company or I'm celebrating something. Otherwise Knob Creek for roughly half the price. I'd love to try Pappy but it isn't available anywhere close that I can tell, other than Jackson bars.
