glad ozark is making a product for the poors that can't afford a yeti.
Apparently someone is bitter for paying 4 times as much for an identical tumbler made by the same factory in China.

Yeti doesn't make their own products. 3rd party outsourcing and marked up like a mofo.

Drives me nuts, my kids and grandkids, with the Yeti bullshite these days.

I've always liked their products, but just never thought they were worth it. I don't fish, so I never needed one of their coolers. The rest of their stuff just seemed unnecessarily overpriced. Apparently that was true. I looked at several similar tumblers, and they all appear to bed made by the same factory. Same seam at the bottom, stamped metal in the same location, same lid with gasket and a logo on it. There are a couple that have changed the lids to have a spoil proof lid or a curved center for a straw. But that's it. And apparently a Yeti replacement lid costs more than a new 30 oz Ozark tumbler.
Yeti seems to be bigger deal in the country and in southern states. I don't see many Yeti stickers in Colorado. I did recently see a yeti cooler on a deer rack, but it had an Auburn themed Alabama tag.

My wife bought our Son a Yeti tumbler and cooler for Christmas this past year, to sport on the back of his special Yeti rack on his SUV ... almost $400.00 for the cooler and the tumbler ... really ticked me off.
I just showed both of them this video and they tip toed outta my office here giggling ... but they get what I've been saying now.
Brand names cost more money ... not always for the right reasons. Clothes and accessories is where they get you usually. Nike, Under Armour, Columbia Sports Wear ... it's all overpriced.

Correct. I have sleeveless compression shirts made by a factory in China that also makes UA compression shirts. Same fabric, same cut, same stitching. The difference is the printed label inside. My brand is just getting started and is unknown right now. My buying power is much less because I only buy 500-1000 at a time to fill team orders without having a lot of money tied up in inventory. I pay more per unit than UA does but still get a very good price. I can say with certainty that the UA compression shirt sitting on a rack at Academy Sports for $26+ costs less than $2 to be made and shipped to the U.S.. Of course, UA has enormous overhead compared to what I am doing as a startup so the true unit cost is much higher than just the cost of goods. They have thousands of employees, huge infrastructure cost, and are a publicly traded company with shareholders. A startup like my brand has none of that type of overhead.

What do you pay for that shirt, $10? And are you selling it for $26? Just curious, I agree with what you are saying.

I pay $6 for the shirt. I pay my printer to screen print or sublimate here per each schools/coaches specifications. That averages between $4-$6. My customized/finished price ranges from $17-$19 depending on the type of print, how many colors, how many locations, etc..
