I think it would have been better if the camera just zooms in on the mom's face and she's like shaking and shite, just in complete and total terror at what she's seeing. Then her son slowly turns his head and only his head all the way around, like The Exorcist, with this maniacal smile. Mom runs out of the bathroom screaming and gets in her car, but it won't start. When the engine finally kicks on and she flips on the car headlights, there's her son, the insane smile still plastered to his face. Only now he's holding an icepick. A BLOODY icepick.
