When I went to Nashville, talked to a girl who played the fiddle in the band that was playing when we first walked in. She had a Minnesota accent.

Nailed on the first reply. I will say that a thick NYC accent is an immediate turnoff and is not overcome by the hotness of the chick. It's like a Ferrari with a really bad paint job.

Most Canadian. A friend of mine lives about an hour outside of Vancouver now (Vancouver is too international to have the crazy accent) and omg...i want to stab my ears out every time she talks now.
Canadian accents are by far the worst.

The accent has never really bothered me if there is some intelligence behind the accent. I can't stand stupidity behind a thick accent. The rural Alabama redneck accent is probably my least favorite though, probably because I encounter it almost daily. It just drips with ignorance and stupidity, and it plagues both sexes.
My favorite accents are Middle Eastern and Mexican, if they're smart and attractive. So hot.

One thing that makes me happy about Louisiana. The french influence on the rural accent makes it much more pleasing to the ear than that redneck drawwl.
